Carpet
In a nutshell they all do the same job….Carpets are soft underfoot, they help keep warmth in, they are easy to maintain. But… choosing the correct carpet for your lifestyle is key. With the ever changing world we find ourselves working longer hours and have busier lifestyles…here’s my point..most of my carpet installs are typically done with a synthetic fibre, (polypropylene or polyester). These man made carpets are hard wearing yet are easy to keep clean. Perfect choice for busy households.

Wool is a great Choice as it’s a sustainable fibre, great for people with allergies and is fire retardent. Wear retention is a lot better than polypropylene as wool fibre will spring back and recover quicker from foot traffic, the only downside is staining should a spillage happen and be forgotten about. But if you attend to the spillage immediately wool will clean up just as good as polypropylene. Wool typically costs more than polypropylene, but an investment that will Last a very long time.
